Job Requirements:
Review system changes prior to move-to-production approval, with the goal of ensuring:
o Requirements were documented
o Testing that was executed appears adequate for the scope of the change and the requirements
o Testing evidence is adequate
o Management approvals were documented
o All relevant attributes of the change are documented
Support major project testing efforts, including:
o Loading and maintaining test scripts in HP Quality Center/ALM (previously called Mercury QC prior to HP buying Mercury)
o Extracting test progress metrics and creating dashboards
o Facilitating defect meetings with phone and web participants
o Reviewing completed testing
o Following up with testers on test completion, retesting of fixed defects, etc.
Must have great communication skills (oral & written) – very important. Contractor will be talking directly to customers they support regarding testing results, follow-up issues, etc., and will be responsible for documentation.
Experience with Finance & HR systems projects is a big plus – those are the 2 Divisions this group supports.

According to the team lead, the skills below are key for performing on this job:
Solid Analyst/QA/BA experience, to fully understand the job and know what needs to be done.
BA type background, primarily need experience reading & understanding technical requirements/documents – it’s a big part of the job so this is very important.
Need HP Quality Center (QC) experience, to be able to perform a lot of the job responsibilities.
Testing experience, related to creating/writing/setting up test cases and reviewing tests.
