Need LANDesk Asset Central
Location: Deerfield, IL
Duration: 6 months+
Rate: Open on c2c or 1099 all inc

Project: LANDesk Asset Central module implementation
LANDesk Report Developer and Administrator

This position is to work with the LANDesk professional services team and Baxter Asset management team to implement the LANDesk AC module on premise with the existing on premise SLM module. The expectation is to stay on for the duration of the project, and after the project to stay on and continue working with the Baxter Asset management team for on-going reporting capabilities and possible tool enhancements/upgrades with in LANDESK. The expectation is to be available mid September 2016.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
Collaborates with Asset managers and core Asset team to define technical requirements from business requirements for managing both Software and Hardware Assets.
Analyzes unique business operational requirements and conducts research as the basis to design appropriate technical solutions to accommodate those functional needs.
Construct complex MS SQL queries to mine data in LMDS based on business rules defined by Asset team members.
Lead other Asset team members to develop reporting capabilities for operational Asset reports.
Ability to accurately estimate effort to complete assigned work.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
LANDesk administrative experience with SLM, ALM (New AC- Asset Center)
Experience with Some scripting knowledge (VB, PowerShell) useful
Experience with Crystal Reports or similar reporting products
Strong communication and teamwork skills
2 or more years related or equivalent experience
Experience managing MS SQL Server 2008/2012
Experience with developing complex MS SQL queries using multiple databases
Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft Certified Professional in MCDBA: Certified Database Administrator
Microsoft Certified Professional in MCSE: Business Intelligence certification or Data Platform
