Position: VM Ware Developer

Location: Collegeville, PA

Duration: 6+ Months

The candidate for the VMWare vRealize developer role will be responsible for
developing and supporting automation on the vRealize platform. They will
support configuration and maintenance of Blueprints, Custom Properties, etc.
in vRA as well as maintenance, enhancements and creations of new workflows
in vRO. The candidate will be responsible for writing error handing, fixing
code bugs and rewriting code for workflows requiring modification due to
dependent infrastructure back ends changing. Maintaining the health of all
vRealize components in a production environment with endpoints in private
(Vblock), hybrid (vCloud Air) and public clouds (AWS) and future end points
will be required.

Required Skills

Extensive experience with VMware vRealize Orchestration (VRO),
VMware vRealize Automation (VRA), vROPS Management Packs
Experience creating VMware vRealize Orchestration (VRO) workflows
5+ years working with Windows (Windows 2012R2) and Linux systems
(RHEL 6)
5+ years of scripting and coding experience (UNIX or PowerShell)
Familiarity with using rest API''s.
Familiarity with SOAP and Web Services
Must have experience and knowledge with implementing Dynamic Types
and XaaS
Interest in being part of a team, and ability to work effectively
with both local and remote staff, teammates and managers
Excellent oral and written communication skills

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of SCRUM and Agile best practices, TeamForge a plus
