SharePoint Administrator is a person who is solely responsible for configuration and maintenance of a Microsoft SharePointServer or a Farm. Promoting user adoption, developing and implementing a governance plan, implementing compliance and discovery, negotiating SLAs, enforcing ownership of applications and sites with stakeholders, collaborating with developers and testing backups are essential parts of a SharePoint Administrator’s responsibilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Installing, configuring, maintaining, upgrading and managing a SharePoint Server or a Farm.
Configuring all service applications like Search, Managed Metadata, User Profile Synchronization etc.
Assignment of proper permission levels for all users of the site as well as configuring security settings for site collections.
Monitor Health Analyzer reports; review problems and solutions
Configuration of SharePoint Server features (Timer Jobs, creating new Site Collections, Document Routing Policies, Setting up Document Sets, etc
Configuration and Maintenance of a verifiable disaster recovery routine of the SharePoint Farm (backup and restore)
Knowledge and creation of SharePoint Management PowerShell scripts used for management, configuration, maintenance, etc.
Training and supporting the business users in their day to day involvement in SharePoint sites such as uploading a document, starting an approval workflow, etc.
Solid understanding of IIS, Active Directory and Mail Configuration.
Configuration of Business Connectivity Services for connecting to a SQL database or a WCF service.
Strong understanding of what can be done using OOB features in SharePoint.
Developing and maintaining SQL database to support reporting and application initiatives.
Mitigate security vulnerabilities by employing best practices, error checking, testing and debugging.
Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree from a nationally accredited university or equivalent technical IT experience
At least two years in SharePoint administration role, or SharePoint developer, or strong SharePoint support role, or equivalent experience.

Experience with Nintex
Experience with SharePoint 3rd party applications and integration packages
Experience with SharePoint Database Administration
Experience with managing SharePoint Projects
Microsoft MCSE – SharePoint Solutions Expert
Experience with Extranet Collaboration Manager
Report Writing for Microsoft SQL, Crystal Reports, Tableau, or others Agile Project Management
