Job Title: Delivery Manager with SAP
Location: Redmond WA
Duration: 12 Months
Responsibilities
Ability and experience managing engagement revenue, delivery margins and customer satisfaction
Manages the planning, execution and implementation of all SAP projects or programs in the EAS vertical.
Hires, directs and oversees the project/program managers, project teams, vendors, and other technology groups in an effort to utilize appropriate project resources.
Develops and monitors SLA’s to ensure that SOW’s are delivered within established commitments.
Leads status meetings, identifies platform risks, mitigation strategies, and communicates with client partners.
Collaborates and partners with all levels of client stakeholders and technical management staff to facilitate problem resolution and the resolution of competing priorities.
Performs delivery assessment, dependencies and impact analysis to provide recommendations on margin efficiency gains and delivery improvements to executive management.
Work on developing new SAP oriented innovation, technology sections of RFI, RFP and perform discovery and feasibility studies on new projects under evaluation.
Ensure the SAP Value Proposition for each opportunity is fully understood
Work with Solution Architects and other internal teams to build the SAP solution models and finalize pricing, margins, SLAs, resource loading plan etc.
Involved in prospecting, appointment setting for face to face client meetings, and negotiations to secure new business.
Facilitate deal sign on and deal sign off, delivery assurance reviews and periodic customer satisfaction surveys.
Must Have:
Motivated, self-starter who does not require significant oversight
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree, in IT or Management preferred
Open to occasional Local, Regional, and occasional International Travel
12 + years experience in participating in competitive bid situations, preparing responses to requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs) with exposure to onshore/offshore based service models
10+ years commercial SAP expertise – ability to understand quickly the client’s SAP technology, business needs and pricing limitations
7+ years experience of working with a global delivery model and working with geographically dispersed solution teams
Ability to engage with clients and present to LOB Heads / IT Director Audiences
Must be a high energy “self-starter” with a resilient and positive personality who knows how to drive desired outcome
Must be a go-getter with strong customer connection skills, building new relationships and networking skills with mid to senior level managers.
Ability to manage multiple engagements, projects, and clients with varying complexity and SAP technologies, juggle priorities and deliver on tight deadlines.
Overall 12+ years of experience with minimum 5+ years of experience as Project/Program Manager
Excellent project/program management skills using Agile Methodology (Scrum- attention to detail is key
Experience managing projects including following key activities Estimations, Requirement Gathering and Analysis, Project Planning and Scheduling, Risk Analysis, Requirement Tracking, Defect Tracking, Schedule and Effort Variance, Project Management Reviews with senior management, Project Monitoring, Customer Management and Team Management.
Experience in matrix management and to manage multiple stockholders
Well-versed with Engineering quality processes and exposure to define and track KPIs/SLAs at program level.
Experience in matrix management and to manage multiple stockholders
Excellent written and oral communication, collaboration and executive presentation skills.
Experience of managing Service Engineering/Service Operations projects would be an added advantage
Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment
