Consultant Job Description:

Describe the consultant role: The consultant will work closely with various technology teams and Sales Operations to develop our new Customer Relationship Management platform. This is a great opportunity for a highly motivated self-driven professional with experience in the entire software development life cycle and someone who looks forward to solving problems and providing impactful solutions.

CRM development for Institutional Research Services

The key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Development and technical administration of our CRM platform. Key job responsibilities include enhancements and technical configuration of CRM, full development lifecycle for CRM platform.
Collaborate with our internal and external technology and business partners to implement product changes
Hands-on design and development (front-end and server-side development), hands-on database development including schema design and business logic implementation, working closely with other developers to ensure all code is consistent with architectural standards and design
Produce technical specification and design documents as required.

Job Qualifications, Experience, Education:
The ideal candidate should have the following Qualifications, Experience, and Education:
At least 7+ years of rigorous design and programming experience
4+ years of solid hands-on Salesforce CRM experience
Strong relational database design/development skills
Track record of working on complex projects under aggressive deadlines
Strong experience in designing and developing enterprise class applications
Excellent problem solving, interpersonal, and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Mathematics

Skills: Salesforce CRM, ETL and SQL Database, Web technologies, Scripting experience, SSRS, XML.

Special Knowledge (if applicable):
Salesforce CRM Experience is a must
Experience in supporting Salesforce environment with installed AppExchange products
Experience in integration with external systems and data migration
Expertise in Salesforce configuration and security model
Solid understanding of Salesforce platform and best practices for development, testing and deployment
Thorough Knowledge on Salesforce release schedules and release process
Capital Markets – Equity Research Sales experience is a plus
