Job Title: Platform Architect – Software Development (Fulltime/Permanent position -NOT A CONTRACT)

Location: Parsippany - NJ


My direct client is looking for a solution architect to lead the architecture and implementation of Inttra''s new B2B platform. Responsibilities encompass the full application lifecycle and include ensuring the solutions can be monitored, instrumented, and supported in a scalable (cloud) environment. A qualified architect should have experience in building connected web applications that are performant, beautiful, with a well designed and simple user experience. The solutions architect is someone who not only can research and design flexible, sustainable and scalable architecture or applications, but they also like to code and get their hands dirty. They are passionate about their solutions and will inspire people to realize their visions. In addition good candidate knows that in the enterprise environment no system is an island and must integrate with variety of other software entities.


Act as the bridge between business goals and the deployed system.
Provide clear documentation and leadership for achieving technical direction and goals.
Ensure that products and services are built according to design principles.
Provide technical context, mission, vision, architecture plans, technical goals, technical context, high availability context, etc to enable amazing products and systems to be delivered loosely coupled, highly aligned, and quickly.
Contribute to technology vision and strategy.
Take responsiblity for design principles and working with teams to achieve them.


Experience in designing and leading delivery of web based systems in object oriented technologies such as Ruby, Java, .NET. Ideal candidate would be Ruby on Rails specialist with prior experience in Java and/or .NET
Experience in building and consuming RESTful web services
Experience designing, building, and deploying microservice architectures.
Knowledge of and experience using AWS.
Growing strong, independent teams through collaboration, communication, and mentoring.
Participation in several software development projects (five or more) through the full lifecycle in the architect capacity

Education & Professional Qualifications:

B.S. Computer Science/Engineer or equivalent computer-related education
M.S. a plus
