Strong experience in project planning and control – methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects i.e. work breakdown structures, critical path analysis, earned value, resource analysis and conflict resolution (MS Project application experience desirable) • Proficient in project risk & issue management – identification, assessment and management of project risks, which could result in time or cost over-runs, or failure to deliver products which are fit for purpose • Works independently and only needs occasional guidance • Works collaboratively across the business and within IS exhibiting a professional demeanor, business acumen and a strong written and verbal communication skill-set

Own responsibility for the successful completion of assigned projects, ensuring that realistic schedules & quality, risk, resource and communication plans prepared and maintained • Establish and manage budgets for the assigned projects and ensure forecast accuracy and annual plan compliance • Responsible for adherence to various defined processes and Audit compliance and preparedness • Adhere to, and be an advocate of, the Project Management Methodology during project execution • Adhere to change control procedures, monitor project costs against the approved budget and manage stakeholder communications and expectations • Monitor and control resource allocation with support from respective resource managers • Allocate and monitor tasks, motivating the team and appraising individual’s performance on the project • Advise on appropriate action, including needs for business contingency planning, and countermeasures with respect to implementation of BIS solutions • Ensure that projects are formally closed and where appropriate, subsequently reviewed and that lessons learned are captured for use on other initiatives • Participate in the continued development of the project management function within BIS • As assigned professional and strategic tasks from the department manager (annual planning, process development, RFI/RFP, contract management, etc
