Project Manager - HCS PMO

This position is supporting the USPS ETS contract and will be located at USPS in Raleigh, NC. The candidate must be able to obtain a USPS Sensitive clearance.
Northrop Grumman Information Systems sector is seeking an Infrastructure Systems Project Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Raleigh, NC.

You will become a part of the Host Computing Services Program Management office (HCS PMO) which provides Portfolio Managers, Program Managers, BSS, development organizations and clients with experienced Information Technology Project Managers to lead IT infrastructure projects
Provide information technology project and program management support for United States Postal Service. The HCS PMO effectively leads, manages, and coordinates services required to deliver client projects and provides the following support:
Creates accurate Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates that clients can use to baseline their project financial projections
Leads a team of experienced HCS Service Providers and vendors to acquire, build, and install each environment
Resolves all issues and action items
Ensure that projects are completed on-time
Delivery of project results that are within the defined budget
USPS requires the Suppliers to perform a project and program leadership role in planning, communication, issue and risk management, implementation, documentation, and support of a large, complex, projects and programs
Daily support of projects and programs, weekly status report
Create detailed project plans, schedules, risk logs, issue logs, communication plans, change control processes, schedule and lead meetings, escalate issues, and others
The deliverable shall meet the following acceptance criteria in addition to compliance with the technical approach outlined below:
Microsoft Project Plans (MPP)
Team building with Service Providers, Vendors, and Postal
Manage team on a day-to-day basis
Issues will be escalated immediately to management for resolution
Enter Team Track for new projects (as required)
Keep project status up-to-date in PMTracker system
Enter eBuys and follow through to completion
Enter Storage Requests and follow through to completion
Manage multiple projects on a daily basis
Process reclaims and decommission promptly
Basic Qualifications:
To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:
Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 6 years experience
PMI PMP certification required
Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with large infrastructure projects
Experience with network/IT security in a government based secure environment
Familiarity with agile and waterfall project methodologies
Experience with enterprise wide implementations
Experience holding people accountable in a matrix organizational environment
Familiarity with Sharepoint
Experience managing program based projects, as well as a project portfolio of up to 40 projects
