Summary & Purpose:
The Integration Specialist is a customer-facing role that is a member of the Explorys Integration team and is responsible for executing technical aspects of our solution implementations. The Integration Specialist will serve as a point of contact to the client for items such as establishing data connectivity, VPN installation and monitoring of data connections. This position also plays a role in supporting customers post integration.
This position requires a self-motivated, customer-focused professional with strong follow-through who consistently keeps commitments to customers and fellow employees. You will have direct contact with customers and must ensure that each interaction is handled with a professional attitude and a superior level of service.

Essential Functions:
Lead the connections, HIE, SFTP transfer, EMR, PMS, 837, billing, custom flat files and others
Coordinate and manage the setup, shipment and installation of hardware, including VPN devices and servers.
Serve as a technical interface - sysops, engineering and coordinate with network, system, security, compliance from the customer side
Responsible for establishing and monitoring secure VPNs between Explorys and client data centers.
Serves as the primary point of contact for initial integration support issues
Conduct data triage activities to identify issues and report on the “health of the data” during onboarding of new data sources
Responsible for leading the source to target mapping effort between the subject matter experts at Explorys and the client.
Responsible for running SQL queries against data sources to identify basic data integrity issues and formulate root cause analysis
Advises and recommends strategic approach to community practice integrations.
Must possess strong technical troubleshooting skills in areas such as file transfers, data connectivity, networking issues and proven ability to resolve customer facing issues in a timely manner.
Preparing and submitting customer facing reports; including reports regarding data quality, file transfers, downtime metrics and data tracking.
Execute the steps in delivering a comprehensive plan for customer system upgrades and architectural changes, including hardware and software updates.
Coordinate with mid-lower level mgmt. in data, network, application management domains

Description of Ideal Candidate:

Technical project management experience
Familiarity with working with data sets and general knowledge of database concepts
Understand compliance & other domain issues, Customer trouble shooting
Bachelor’s degree or higher with 3-5 years of professional experience in healthcare, IT, engineering, research. Masters degree desirable.
