Position Details:
Job Title: IBM Curam Developer
Location: Greenville, SC 29607
Duration: 6 Months (Strong possibility for an extension)

This position requires direct experience with IBM Curam (any of listed areas)
CER Rules experience
IEG Script experience
Curam Batch processing
Working experience in UML using rational software architect
Understanding of Curam Business process where Java web client development is needed

The state expects the software development team members to possess the following technical skills:
Application Servers: IBM WebSphere, JBoss Application Server.
Frameworks: IBM Cúram
BPM: BizAgi and familiarity with BPM concepts.
Rules Engine: General rules engine knowledge.
ESB: Mule ESB, WS02.
Java: J2EE, Java Server Pages, Servlets, Tag libs, Enterprise Java Beans (EJB), JDBC, JNDI, JMS, JTA, JAXB. Web Services Toolkits (Axis 2)
Protocols/Standards: HTTP, XML, DTD, XML Schema, WSDL, SOAP, RSS.
Certifications: Curam Certified, Sun Certified Web Component Developer, Sun Certified Business Component Developer for Java 2 Enterprise Edition 1.3. Sun Certified Java Programmer for Java 2 Platform 1.4.
Database: Oracle, Schema Design, ER Diagrams, Normalization, SQL Optimization, Data Migration.
Languages: Java, JavaScript, SQL, JQUERY.
Platforms: UNIX/RHEL, Linux, Windows 7, Oracle.
Tools: Subversion, maven, git, ant.
Architecture: MVC, O/R Persistence Frameworks.
Integrated Development Environments: Eclipse, IntelliJ.
SDLC: Requirements Analysis, Iterative Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Lean.

Required skills:
IBM Curam Social Management Platform experience.
Software Engineering: Design and develop Java applications incorporating industry-standard frameworks where appropriate (such as spring or Struts or Hibernate Plan for highly available and scalable applications.
Incorporate services into system design where appropriate. Coordinate and plan the work of java development teams.
Software Project Lifecycle Management: Effectively implement and utilize modern Web-based software industry standards and best practices including an agile/scrum-based methodology, use of integrated development environments, strong emphasis on unit testing and participation in complete software lifecycle from analysis and design through testing and deployment.
Assist end-user and business analysts in turning business needs into incremental software development projects and sprints. Serve as a champion for quality software and software development practices.
Communicate with a broad mix of stakeholders involved in the information technology system replacement projects
Demonstrated experience designing and coding web applications
Ability to assess current solution, solutions available through other State’s efforts and develop the most cost effective and efficient plan

Required education:
Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or field or at least seven years of Curam experience. Master’s degree preferred.
