We are seeking a Project Manager to join its Broadcast Operations Network Implementation team in El Segundo, California. The Project Manager will provide technical and organizational skills to ensure new content and information services being developed are delivered in a timely manner while meeting operational standards. This position will be an integral part of an established organization that provides technical support in delivering 3,000+ channels of Regional and National content to U.S. and Pan-Regional Latin American customers as well as emerging content delivery services such as VOD and Internet streaming.

Responsibilities include:

Consult with other architects and IT management on project status and strategies.

Develop and present design artifacts and prototypes to audiences of various levels of management across the company.

Establish scope definition, project schedules, priorities, risks and overall development plans and deployment.

Pull and maintain weekly and monthly reporting from various project management systems.

Oversee the project lifecycle for in-house projects from inception to completion, ensuring requirements are collected, design reviews are held, budgets/timelines/priorities are respected, documentation is maintained, and final hand-offs with training are performed.

Organize routine reviews of project status with staff and management team and proactively keep stakeholders aware of delivery dates.

Collaborate with counterpart Engineering departments on larger projects affecting the broadcast centers by actively participating in design reviews, commissioning & testing, training sessions, and hand-offs.

Facilitate communication and problem solving support across cross-functional teams/departments and provide information efficiently to all management levels on outstanding issues, project activities, and progress.

Coordinate project related activities to avoid conflicts with day-to-day operations.

Serve as the owner / liaison between the business and all other members of the partner ecosystem.

Develop and maintain standard project documentation, project plans, agendas, action items lists, business rules/requirements, test cases, etc.

Developing capital budget plans and prepare capital requests including qualitative analysis and risk assessment.

Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant work experience (e.g., large-scale, multi-disciplinary Project Management, Operations, Internship, etc demonstrating a high level of responsibility supporting corporate initiatives. Masters degree is a huge plus.

Demonstrated use of project management principles essential; PMP certification a plus.

Industry experience in Satellite Television Provider, Telecommunications, Cable / Broadcast TV, Over the Top Provider or Studio/Production Company is a plus.

Must have practical experience with managing technology deployments and be familiar with IT concepts and terminology.

Must be proficient in MS Project

Ability to effectively operate within diverse and cross-functional groups.

Strong problem solving and analytical skills, including a qualitative and quantitative skill set.

Must be able to see the project, decisions and processes in terms of the big picture and how it would impact across-departments.

Must have excellent facilitation, time management, and organizational skills as well as the ability to influence others.

Must be able to leverage the expertise of the project managers from each functional team and their associated staffs and assists with project prioritization.

Must be able to accommodate change and adapt accordingly.

Excellent communication skills, including ability to tailor communication to audience to achieve desired results.

Experience with public speaking and presentation skills required.

May require up to 20% travel and the ability to expense travel costs prior to reimbursement.
