Job Description :
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with minimum 7+ years of experience.
· Customization of the Chaucer platform including new UI components as well as extensive integration with a number of components
· Strong React JS experience
· The QuAD Assessment / Interactive authoring tool
· Externally stored CSS / delivered via API to support dynamic previewing
· Develop and implement of a number of new UI components in similar framework to C2 (react.js)
· Technical oversight of the full environments setup for the Pearson Chaucer solution in AWS
· Technical oversight of the Structured Content API (Advanced) work
· Strong technical credentials with 5+ years development experience in Java and RDF
· Significant experience delivering geographically dispersed application integrations, preferably in a content management landscape
· Expert knowledge of web-based technologies: React, Flux, HTTP / HTTPS, HTML, JavaScript, SPARQL, JSON, XML, XQUERY/XPATH, triple store, CSS, Less, JQuery, Angular
· A passion for technology and up-to-date with trends, new languages and design approaches in the IT space
· Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
· Extensive experience with Services Oriented Architecture (SOA) and strong REST API background
· Established track record of designing and developing simple solutions to complex problems
· Experienced in designing scalable solutions, writing efficient code, optimizing performance and debugging issues
· Knowledge and experience in implementing large scale commercial web applications?
· Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
· Ability to use strong industry knowledge to relate to customer needs and dissolve customer concerns and high level of focus and attention to detail.
· Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings
