GIS Developer/ Analyst with Development experience in C#, Web-services, Oracle, SQL, XML.
Duration: 12+ Months | Location: San Diego, CA 92123 United States
Local preferred, relocation is fine. Phone or skype interview is also fine.

This is a hard core developer role. We do not want an analyst. primary skills needed

3-5 years of experience developing apps using these technologies –

1. C# sharp,
2. .Net
3. ESRI Arc objects. All must haves
Nice to have – web services, MS Sql and SSRS.


Qualifications:
Medium to expert technical knowledge.

Responsibilities:
General Responsibilities: App Dev/Maint/DB: Conducts requirements gathering, systems analysis, and design for medium complexity applications. Prepares detailed program specifications for medium complexity applications from which programs will be designed, coded, configured, visually developed, tested, and debugged. Follows program specifications to design, install, code, configure, visually develop, test, debug, and document application programs. Develops business knowledge and relationships to integrate activities with other IT and business personnel to ensure successful implementation of projects and production support efforts.

Specific Responsibilities include: Working with the IT team responsible for the PowerWorkz system with a focus on enhancing the existing Vegetation Management and Transmission Construction & Maintenance application. This will require hands-on ESRI, CityWorks, and InfraMap, configuration and programming, as well as supporting GIS related activities. Additional responsibilities may include complex hands-on integrated programming, data analysis, and application development. Under the leadership and tactical supervision of a Software Project Lead, Senior Developers collaborate with internal customers, Business Analysts, IT colleagues, and other stakeholders to identify user requirements, assess application impacts, and recommend solution options. Individuals in this job position should be familiar with all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle.
