Title: Sr. Test Analyst/Test Lead
Location: San Diego, CA
Duration: Long Term Contract


Job Responsibilities:
Must possess strong testing, organizational, and communication skills (written and verbal)
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science or related degree
Looking for a Sr. Test Analyst/Test Lead at onsite US to lead end to end testing activities for P&C – Workers'' Compensation Insurance Claims system and its interfaces, who should have worked in onsite offshore model with extensive client handling experience. Should be able to support offshore team from onsite in extended hours
At least 10 years’ experience in an IT environment, including 3-4 years of QA lead experience
At least 3 years’ experience testing policy, underwriting and claims system in P&C Workers Compensation Insurance lob
Good Understanding & hands on testing or BA experience in Worker''s Compensation Claims area
Ability to verify screens, fields, reports and database
Experience with database query testing and analysis
Experience with web-services testing using tools like SOAP UI
Experience with leading test automation strategy discussions and planning
Take ownership of ensuring code releases are bug-free and meets project requirements¿
Experience utilizing formal QA methodologies, standards, best practices, processes and/or procedures
Hands-on experience with SDLC, QA processes, standards, test management, defect management, problem resolution, status reporting
Expertise in documenting test strategy, test plan and all the test artefacts
Should be able to monitor and control the project and also effectively liaise with the offshore team to resolve their issues
Should be able to efficiently handle the project in onshore –offshore model.
Should be able to create templates, frameworks as required for each testing phase
Should be able to coordinate with various project groups like Business, Project management, Development, Client, SAs and other external stakeholders
Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements.
Should be able to handle defect triage meetings with vendors
Should be able to create various test metrics and lead the governance meetings
Should be able to work for value adds, new initiatives and productivity improvements
Should be through in Agile process and should have worked in Agile environment.
