Client is looking to fill a Research Engineer (1693) or Senior Research Engineer (1692)position in the area of software technologies for Autonomous Vehicles, AI/Robotics, and Intelligent Systems. The successful applicant will support development, integration and testing of autonomous sensing, perception, planning and control technologies relating to unmanned systems.

Level BS/MS (1693), or PhD(1692)in EE, CS, AI, Robotics, or related, with 2-3 years demonstrated experience developing Autonomous Vehicles, Behavior-Based Robotics,or other Unmanned Systems
Location Woburn, MA.
Duties • Work as part of a team to design, implement,and test autonomy, AI, and machine learning algorithms and software systems for embedded unmanned multi-vehicle autonomy
Support research engineers/scientists in the development and test of algorithms and software modules on prototype unmanned aerial, surface, undersea, and ground platforms
Contribute technical materials for proposals, white papers, and publications
Present technical results to internal and external customers
Participate in technical discussion for short-term and long-term technical plans
Required Skills/Experience • Background in Autonomy, Robotics, or Cognitive Systems with technology focus in AI, Robotics, Machine Learning, and/or Autonomous Unmanned Systems
Experience implementing AI and Machine Learning algorithms on real-world prototypes
Proficiency with C/C++, Linux build systems, standard software engineering practices (version control, bug tracking, unit testing), and at least one of Python and Matlab
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Desired Skills/Experience • Proficiency with standard libraries used for AI, robotics, computer vision, and machine learning (e.g., ROS, OpenCV, MOOS, scikit)
Experience in Human Systems Integration (HSI), User Interfaces (UI), Multi-Vehicle Tasking, and/or Mission Planning for Unmanned Systems
