Role: Workday Part-Time Security Advisor

Required skills: Candidate needs to have at least one full-cycle and two years minimum of Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) security implementation experience. Must have hands-on Workday security configuration experience. Must be familiar with Workday’s implementation methodology. Workday internal-controls related experience preferred. Must have excellent communications skills. Must have good project management skills to lead the security and controls team.

Responsibilities:
Define Workday security strategy to meet with the State’s security requirements Act as the Workday security advisor to provide the client project team with recommendations on leading practices on Workday security and internal controls design. Facilitate and lead the Workday security design workdays. Recommend leading practice on Workday security design to address control requirements. Lead the discuss on Workday segregation of duties (SOD) risks and provide leading practice recommendations on how to address the exceptions. Provide leading practices on Workday security groups to user mapping Document Workday security group design, including custom security groups. Configure Workday security domain access. Participate in prototype workshops and identify controls and security requirements. Develop security testing strategy Identify gaps between Workday controls and Texas Administrative Code (TAC) 202 information security requirements. Train project team members on information security requirements. Develop Information Security Risk Management Plan (ISRMP) and update ISRMP controls matrix for quarterly review. Conduct quarterly ISRMP security review assessment for compliance. Facilitate data masking discussions. Develop security change management process Support project team members with onboarding, off-boarding, and change of access. Prepare weekly security and controls status report and attend project team lead meetings. Provide oversight and guidance to the security and controls team throughout the implementation phases. Develop security administration guide. Develop internal control review strategy. Develop business process review report. Develop workflow design review report. Develop role definition and role assignment review report. Review test results for internal controls purpose. Conduct Workday security testing. Develop Workday security training materials.
