A global healthcare firm is actively seeking an experienced Sr. .NET Developer to join their growing local team. As a Sr. .NET Developer, you will be responsible for the detailed design, implementation, and testing of subsystems and system components and able to build a wide variety of software subsystems and components efficiently and effectively, given only a requirements specification and constraints. The Sr. .NET Developer should be able to develop and sustain these subsystems and software components in complex, multi-vendor, multi-platform environments.

As a Sr. .NET Developer, you will lead assigned projects and initiatives as an IT Solutions Delivery Lead in the Software Development and/or Solutions Architecture space to efficiently and effectively architect, deliver, maintain, & enhance solutions based on requirements for assigned business line areas. You will work closely with the assigned Manager to draft, design and deliver all SDLC collaterals (development plans, prioritization, testing plans, deployment approaches, etc. Excellent communication skills are required.


* Develops software solutions by studying information needs and requirements; conferring with users and other SMEs; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

* Recommend, design, and deliver upon data interchange formats, APIs, messaging strategies, application server software, as well as hardware and virtual machine requirements.

* Prepares and installs solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.

* Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.

* Documents knowledge and makes it available to assigned project resources to ensure business continuity;

* Write and execute tests for subsystems and components.

* Participate in integrated test sessions of components and subsystems on test and production servers

* Determine and communicate the implications of system-level decisions on subsystems and components, and help determine how best to mitigate or take advantage of these implications.

* Determine and communicate the requirements and capabilities of components within the context of the larger system, project, and team.

* Support management of the team's technical infrastructure (e.g., repository, build system, testing system) under guidance from the systems engineer or other project leader.

* Participate in efforts to share technology and expertise within the company; mentor junior and aspiring engineers.

* Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.

* Improves operations by conducting systems analysis; recommending changes in policies and procedures.

* Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment;

* Supports and develops software engineers by providing advice, coaching and educational opportunities.

* Bachelor's Degree required Software Engineering or Technology related major preferred

* 5+ years of .NET Development work experience, developing and implementing software & technology solutions.

* 3+ years of experience independently designing and implementing medium to large-sized software systems and components

* In-depth knowledge of .Net, C#, SQL Server 2014, XML, ThingWorx or other prevelant IoT platforms, WebAPI & WebServices protocols, methods, and frameworks, HTML5, iOS, JavaScript, node.js, .DLL design, development, and management, ability to use at least one IDEs, ability to use interactive debuggers effectively

* Previous experience within HealthCare and/or Medical Device systems a plus.

IT related disciplines, software development, code management, QA, project management, architecture disciplines, support & operational best practices.

* Analyzing Information, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing, Teamwork, General Programming Skills, Software Development Fundamentals, Software Development Process, Software Requirements, Existing & emerging development & software architectures

* Successful design and implementation of multiple software components and subsystems.

* Ability to communicate the design and implementation of software systems including relevant strengths/weaknesses and reasons for implementation decisions.

* Knowledge of iOS, Android, Linux OS, and at least two (2) application, database, messaging, UI/UX, and web server systems.
