A Senior Consultant (Admissions Functional/Technical PM) to provide project management tasks and technical leadership for the programming and integration needs of the Admissions projects identified as part of the Advisement initiatives for improving student retention and graduation rates at University.
The incumbent will be the technical liaison across Undergraduate Admissions, Student Affairs, Academic Affairs and IT, providing supervision and leadership to the technical contractors on the Admissions projects and coordinating with the Admissions PM in Student Affairs to ensure timely delivery of expected results. The Admissions Technical Lead will interface with the projects functional and technical resources, outline detailed project plans for the Admissions projects, draft system requirement documents, assign specific tasks to the Admissions technical resources, lead technical design sessions, code reviews, develop testing plans, lead system tests, assess quality assurance, troubleshoot issues, and lead knowledge transfer to University IT staff. The incumbent will communicate regularly with project stakeholders on the project progress with timely escalations and risk management strategies and deliver well-documented project deliverable supporting the University Student Success goals.
