Job Description:

Architect, engineer, deploy, and operationally manage Microsoft Azure & Express Route solutions to support business requirements, which includes:
o Evaluate, develop/procure, implement, and/or support innovative and creative cloud solutions that meet business requirements and add value to the company. This is to be accomplished by utilizing technically sound methods of investigation, analysis, architecture, design, planning/scheduling and with a high degree of functional and technical knowledge.
o Integrate cloud solution with authentication systems, including Azure AD, ADFS, & multi-factor authentication solutions.
o Support cloud transformation process in the company.
o Participate as an internal consultant to applications leaders and business unit customer groups.
o Deploy new solutions that will require infrastructure being hosted at either in Azure or hosted cloud data centers
o Continue to support deployment and upgrades of existing corporate cloud solutions in place (example: O365) whilst maintaining operational services;
o Conduct technical studies and evaluations of business area requirements and recommends to IT management appropriate cloud technology option;
o Keep inventory, track budget, licenses and ensure sustainability of cloud services in place.
Perform product planning for cloud-based offerings including creating product concept and strategy documents, creating requirements specifications, identifying product positioning, and enabling the sales processes (licensing, pricing, packaging, benefits, etc.
Assess optimization required of network hardware, software, and communication links of the cloud infrastructure;
Work close to Application’s Development teams to:
o Support modernization of core enterprise applications and strategy to continue to deploy Software as a Service
o Support system integration and authentication
o Support transition of current solutions to new consumption models;
o Support advanced analytics adoption to grow in the Cloud;
o Support Customer Relationship Management strategy to continue to shift to the Cloud;
Comply with all guidelines detailed in the IT compliance (ASAT/PSAT) with a specific focus on business partnerships, change control, disaster recovery, and security for assigned area(s) of responsibility.
Operate within IS standards and conventions.
Manage the life cycle of current cloud technologies based on business value/case.
Manage budget of cloud solutions in place and support discussions for future cost models/renews.
Leads the discovery, planning, and implementation of global process improvements.
Works with IT leaders, to develop/review technical strategies and ensure that technical programs are developed to carry out the strategies

Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of project management methodologies in order to be able to provide input to and technical contributions to projects managed by others.
Certified Microsoft Professional
MCSD: Azure Solutions Architect
Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)
Strong human relation skills, and be able to interact with internal and external customers, vendors, other IS professionals, and IS management.
Vendor relationship and negotiating skills
5 years of implementation experience with shared infrastructure, platforms, or applications architecture at a large enterprise or service provider.
2 years leading or supporting programs / projects that transform the relationship of Business or customers with Information Technology
Strong Customer Relationship / Skills.
Experience as Cloud Architect / leading design of IT Transformation initiatives
Have excellent writing and communication skills, strong communicator with ability to maintain open communication with internal employees, contractors, managers, 3rd parties, and customers as needed
Enterprise Architecture and Technology certifications: Open CA, CITA, EACOE, EMC, Cisco, Vmware, TOGAF, ITIL, PMI, Microsoft, etc.
Private cloud architecture for resiliency inclusive of SDN/NFV, SDDC (Software Defined Storage and provisioning) custom workflows, automation, Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) capabilities, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)
Strong knowledge of and experience with infrastructure, application and support processes.
Network engineering experience; knowledge of Layer 2 network protocols; strong knowledge of Layer 3 IP routing;
Scripting abilities in one or more language Perl, Shell, Python, …
Cloud infrastructure (e.g. Converged or BYO for storage, compute, network)
