Siebel EIM / Data Integration Developer

Description:

This is a hands on technical position requiring analytical and problem solving skills and requires the design and development of solutions requiring subject matter expertise in Siebel, EIM and Informatica. Experience and knowledge of data integration tool Talend would be preferred. 

S/he will be required to understand business requirements, independently architect, design, develop, unit test and implement a process to load data sourced from flat files into Siebel CRM, using EIM.

The incumbent in this position follows the IT Development methodology – ensuring that best design and programming practices, source code control and change management procedures are followed.



Responsibilities:

Analysis of business requirements and defining technical specifications for the solution – requiring the load of data from flat files into Siebel, using Siebel EIM
Use of SQL for data analysis and validating loaded data
Use of Informatica or Talend to load data into Siebel EIM tables
Provide support to QA and UAT teams during testing of solutions. Report progress and issues to Project Leader/Manager on a regular basis and ensure project schedules are met.
Qualifications:



Education and Experience:

·              5+ years of relevant experience working with Siebel Tools, Siebel EIM, SQL, PL/SQL and Informatica

·              Sound knowledge of Siebel Data model

·              3+ years of hands on analysis and development experience in Unix and shell scripting

·              Experience in Talend and Scheduling tools like Automic desired

·              Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science desired.
