Designsand implementsrobust and scalable solutionstoestablishandmaintaindesktop hardwareand software standardsacrossall corporateclient machines. Developsand implementsinfrastructure solutionsin support of the desktopenvironment thatprovides value-added servicesand enablesclientstomeetindustry-best-practicesfor management andsecurity (e. g. , virtualization solutions, anti-virus, personal firewalls ProvidesTier3 client engineeringsupport for desktop software deployments. Directly responsiblefor desktopsolutionsand products includinghardwarestandardsfordesktops, notebooks, andperipherals, operating systems, core buildsand standard shrink-wrapped software suchasMicrosoft Office. Documents developmentsrequiredfor acceptanceandformal approval of buildsthroughengineeringandsecurity activities. Providesconsultationoncomplex projectsand isa top- level contributor/specialist. Awide degreeof creativity and latitude isexpected.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provides escalated, highly complextechnical support to customers by investigating andresolving systems- relatedmatters.
Recommendsmoderately complex system(s)investment(s)tomanagement andcustomersbasedonresults of assessment of current andfutureperformance, stability, and systemsmanagement/lifecycleissues.
Reviews literature, patents, licenseagreementsandcurrent practicestosupport businessrequirements and/or newindustry technology.
Preparesreportsregardingnewtechnology to communicatetomanagement.
Identifies, evaluates, andrecommendsnewproducts, technologies, roadmapsand strategies.
Developstechnical standardsandensurescompliancewithexisting standards.
Provides3rdlevel client support; deploysapplications& managesworkstations using enterprise management tools.
Plans, conductsandoverseesthetechnical aspectsof projects; coordinatestheeffortsof technicalsupport staff inthe performanceof assignedprojects; provides leadershipandwork guidancetoless experienced personnel.
Performsand evaluatescost analysesandvendor comparisonsfor large scaleprojectstoensurecost- effectiveandefficient operations.
Developsdocumentation; oversees implementationof same.
Performsother relateddutiesasassigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Requiresa bachelor''s degreeinComputer Scienceor similar areaof specialty.
Minimum 8 yearsITsystem experience.
5 yearsWindowsDesktopOSadministration experiencewith extendedWindows7 andWindows8. 1.
Provenapplicationintegrationexperience.
