The Arizona Medical Marijuana Program utilizes multiple Management Information Systems (MIS) to provide services for the public and internal program management tools. The program has continued to develop a competent model for meeting the needs of its user community with a robust team and the capacity to develop, and implement technology solutions. It has become apparent that as the organization and its needs grow, both in size and complexity, that the ability effectively facilitate the interface with subject matter experts (SMEs) and stakeholders to gather requirements, and clarify expectations requires the presence of a dedicated Business Analyst. This role will work closely with Quality Assurance, internal and contracted Development resources, and Project Management teams to ensure that the customers’ needs are forefront in the project, while alleviating the strain on the Quality Assurance team to facilitate clarification and requirements gathering directly from SMEs and stakeholders daily.
