Responsible for administration of F5 LTM / GTM load balancers.
Provide technical leadership within a highly technical team.
On call / shift work required.
Responsible to translate client requirements in to detailed actions for execution.
Required to follow detailed change management and incident management processes.
Investigate and resolve incident tickets.
Communicate with other technical teams regarding firewall operations.
Troubleshoot traffic passing managed firewalls.
Troubleshoot connectivity issues through firewalls.
Utilize packet capture features to aid in analysis of network issues .
Work in a fast paced operations environment.

Hands on experience with F5 OS version 9.1 or higher
F5 certification required
In depth knowledge of F5 LTM / GTM load balancers
Must have experience constructing iRules from customer requirements.
Understand the order of NAT operations and be able to implement the various types of NAT (PAT, Static NAT, NAT exemptions)
Experience with remotely troubleshooting configuration issues.
Strong communication skills (verbal and written communication skills, strong command of English Language) and proven experience of working across cultures and boundaries.
Must have a solid grasp of the F5 CLI command set.
At least one of the following vendor certifications is desired
F5 Certified Administrator
F5 Certified Technology Specialist
F5 Certified Solution Expert
3-5 years’ experience with F5 LTM / GTM load balancers
Excellent TCP/IP networking skills
Excellent communication skill in English – both writing and speaking
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Ability to work effectively from a home based office environment
Ability to work within a global organization with different cultures
Detail Oriented

List of Deliverables:
F5 LTM / GTM configurations. A F5 iRule configuration script will be created for each F5 request involved in a change or newly stood up device.
Design analysis. Work with the technical engineering lead to design and implement the required architecture to support the customer.
Acceptance test plans and scripts. All scripts will be tested in a lab environment prior to implementation on live production units.
Documenting change request is required. Assist load balancer engineering team on change request queue with guidance from the team lead.
