Job Description:

We are looking for a candidate with rich experience in server infrastructure administration, virtualization or hybrid cloud (Azure This position will work very closely with not only the local team in San Jose, but the global team across APAC/EMEA by a “follow-the-sun” model. Below are some major roles & responsibilities of this position:
Support the global corporate IT server infrastructure, which is an environment with more than thousands of servers and systems across dozens of locations worldwide;
Administrate the server hardware, operating systems (mainly on Windows), and the virtualization infrastructure;
Plan, coordinate and implement changes by following the IT change process;
Deliver the compute as a service to the customers, and make sure to meet the SLA;
Join certain global SME group to participate and lead some particular technical area related projects and operations, and to be the escalation point of that particular area;
Challenge and optimize any of the existing technology or process to continuously improve the capability of the team and self;
Keep things communicated and documented in good order;

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, MIS/CS related majors would be preferred;
At least 5 years’ experience working as a senior or higher systems administrator on Windows or virtualization platform for a multi-national company larger than 3,000 employees;
Experience working in a server infrastructure environment consisting of more than 1,000 windows servers or 300 hypervisor hosts;
Solid experience of administrating and troubleshooting the Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012;
Hands-on experience on at least 2 of the following hardware: Cisco UCS / Client ProLiant / DELL VRTX;
Hands-on experience on VMware (5.x/6.x) or MS Hyper-V (2012) administration, including cluster administration;
Hands-on experience on Azure (esp. experience in a large enterprise environment with migration from on-perm to Azure) will be a big plus;
Solid knowledge of LAN and TCP/IP networking. Network administration experience is a big plus;
Basic knowledge of SAN/NAS storage. Storage administration experience is a big plus;
Basic knowledge of Linux/UNIX. Linux/UNIX administration experience is a big plus;
Real production experience of any scripting language esp. PowerShell would be a big plus;
Must have basic sense of ITIL fundamental (esp. change/configuration/incident processes);
