Coordinator - Faculty Affairs


The Coordinator - Faculty Affairs, under the direction of the Director - Faculty Affairs & Development, coordinates all aspects of the initial appointment, re-appointment, and promotion processes for faculty, adjunct faculty, and visiting scientists. Collaborates with the director and chairs to facilitate efficient execution of both the pre-employment and separation processes. Provides administrative support for the Faculty Appointments and Promotions Committee (FAPC) and the Executive Committee (EC Oversees the daily business operations of the Faculty Affairs Office, and manages the budget execution for recruitment and relocation. Provides administrative support and coordination for faculty meetings, special events, and the St. Jude Standing Committees.

Bachelor's degree required in a discipline appropriate for the job responsibilities

Master's degree preferred.

Minimum Experience:

Five (5) years of administrative experience involving database management, project coordination, meeting planning, and professional correspondence are required.

Recruitment and relocation experience strongly preferred.

Financial and budget management experience strongly preferred.

Overseeing business operation experience strongly preferred.
