Description of specific Duties in a typical workday for this position:
The Business Process Consultant has strong analytical and communication
skills. They will help federal customer agencies and programs facing
many challenging and interesting business problems, research and develop
solutions that provide value using proven techniques, frameworks while
complementing these with innovative methods. They are an individual with
outstanding analytical abilities, excellent communication skills, good
business understanding, and technical savvy. The successful candidate
will be a general problem solver who enjoys diving into data, is excited
about investigations, can multi-task, and can credibly coordinate
between project teams, analysts and business stakeholders.
Our Business Process Consultant will work with the analytics team to
develop, implement and govern the end to end performance strategy. This
* Understanding the business environment, mission, vision and objectives
* Understanding the program specific goals or facilitate their formulation
* Identify the KPI s and relevant measures
* Develop a measurements infrastructure
* Setup the governance infrastructure and dashboards to monitor
performance and make course corrections
* Sound problem-solving; Use sophisticated analytic and predictive
techniques to allow for corrective and preventive decision-making
* Ability to analyze various data/metrics to uncover trends and
problematic areas; Find root causes and conduct research to
determine the best course of action to meet objectives in
partnership with the program/unit/customer
* Use Org change management techniques to manage the implementation
and adoption of changes
* Ability to generate routine and ad hoc results, graphs, reports,
presentations and dashboards;
* Ability to quickly process complex information and present it in an
understandable and compelling manner
* Ability to coordinate between diverse and multi-level technical as
well as business stakeholders
Preferred requirements:
* Business Process Management consulting experience
* Organizational Change Management experience
* Knowledge of insurance industry
* Six sigma certification
* 8+ years direct experience
This is a full-time position paying a base salary, full benefits, and
has possible bonus potential based on merit and performance.
