Head of International Data Ops

The Head of International Data Strategy & Operations will be responsible for coordinating data strategy, implementing international extensions of US domestic's data operations, evaluating and supporting data vendor, coordinating marketing analytics and targeted ad sales efforts between the international divisions of the company and the US based team operating the Company Data Cloud.

He/she will support and interact with both domestic and international senior company executives. He/she will be responsible for helping to formulate and, in some circumstances, implement strategic data initiatives between the domestic and international divisions. This includes working with the individual company brands, ad sales, research, marketing, legal and other divisions within the company to identify key global strategic issues including privacy, data governance, data security and identity management. The successful candidate will also provide strategic support for financial planning functions, such as coordinating budgets, forecasting and financial allocation across domestic and international divisions. The role will help create business and product requirements to support data driven ad sales and marketing products.

The Head of International Data Strategy & Operations must demonstrate a thorough understanding of international trends related to data platforms, data security, privacy and consumer analytics. He/She will be experienced in using BI and analytics tools and processes; be capable of managing multiple complex projects simultaneously; forge relationships with senior leaders throughout company; have excellent oral and written presentation skills, including the ability to present in a compelling way to key senior management.

The Head of International Data Strategy & Operations will be a facilitator and communicator of the various data projects happening around the company in order to support a coordinated approach;

Implementing audience and consumer data operations on a global basis
Identify potential technology vendors and partnerships
Support international ad sales, marketing, content and OTT efforts
Coordinate data efforts between US and international divisions.
Budgeting, forecasting and financial planning
Data Strategy, Products and requirement


10-15 years' experience in leveraging consumer analytics
Deep knowledge of digital media and ad targeting, particularly in international country operations.
Foundational product development and data management experience
Hands-on experience leading data strategy and/or change management due to data capabilities
Solid understanding of technology platforms that audience targeting tools
Clear indications of leadership
Strong Communication skills: written, verbal and presentation including working with BI dashboards
Ability to 'direct' analysts, managers and directors in cross-functional teams
Strong team skills
Demonstrate thorough understanding of media industry and company operations
Proven track record of international success in a data-driven organization


MBA preferred with analytics and data management training.
