Job Description:

- 5+ years experience in ETL/ Database testing

- 5+ years large enterprise or e-business systems experience. Banking experience is a plus.

- Expert level knowledge of writing complex SQL queries.
- Expertise with developing Testing Strategy, Test Plans, Test Cases/scenarios/scripts in an ETL environment.

- Knowledge of ODS(Operational Data Store), Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence principles (preferable

- Prior experience with near-real-time data processing preferred.

- Expertise in database testing in Teradata and Oracle RDBMS, including designing and manipulating test data, validating stored procedures, jobs, triggers and replication.

- Testing of Unix Shell scripts and bteqs(Stored procedures for Teradata) used in ETL processing.

- A challenging and enquiring mind.

· Create clear, concise detail oriented test plans/cases.

· Ability to understand and create test plans from specifications or verbal communications.

· Liaison with development, project management, and customer support.

· Knowledge of SDLC.

· Understanding of data connections

· Strong analytical, documentation and communication skills.

· Ability to troubleshoot complex problems

· Create and execute test scripts and scenarios to ensure quality solutions.

· Experience with Data Migration testing and Data conversion testing.

· Learn and apply project high-level and detailed business requirements.

· Develop and execute manual scripts for requirement validation, functional, integration, regression, performance and usability testing.

· Create Test Plan, Business Test Scenario and Requirements Traceability Matrix documents.

· Document, analyze and communicate test results and assist with defect management.

· Perform data validation on ETL job processes and database changes.

· Maintain understanding of current and new testing technologies.

· Assist with technical artifacts and can engage in technical discussions
