This position is responsible for working at the direction of the Vice President, serving as a technical lead and business solution strategist for multiple technical projects at the Conference of State Bank Supervisors (CSBS He or she will assist in CSBS technology modernization efforts; assist with the development and implementation of the CSBS technology roadmap; evaluate, manage, and oversee technology vendors and service providers; implement/support the most appropriate solution development methodology; implement/support the most appropriate development and quality assurance processes and procedures to support successful business solutions.

· Develop and maintain solutions leveraging various programming techniques.
- Utilize generally accepted best practices for documenting code
· Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical presentations.
· Work effectively with contractors and outsourcers providing technology services to CSBS
· Provide technical direction in the design and development of technical solutions for the business.
· Develop and make presentations to non-technical stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual should possess the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed and meet the amount of education, training and/or work experience required.

Education and Experience
B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
7+ years of relevant business and technology experience, to include at least 5 years’ experience with technology evaluation, application development, testing or data management.
5+ years of experience developing solutions in Salesforce.
5+ years of experience with multiple programming languages and programming paradigms is desired. Examples include Java, C#, C++, C, APEX, SQL, scripting languages.
Experience in the Financial Services/Industries, Regulatory, or consulting services industries is good but experience in multiple industries can be a significant plus if sufficient depth is achieved in more than one industry.
Multiple years of experience with multiple companies is highly desired.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
A minimum of 3 years’ experience managing full life cycle application development teams in a multi-vendor, outsourced environment.
Experience developing interoperable solutions using web services.
Experience using Salesforce.
Proven track record for delivery of application migration and custom application development projects on-time, within budget and with desired quality.
Extensive knowledge and experience of project management & software development methodologies.
Understanding of emerging technologies.
Self-motivated, flexible, with a ‘can do’ attitude
Strong listening skills with an ability to write in a clear manner.
Organized and detail-oriented, able to track and work on multiple projects at once.
Consultative working style, able to effectively interface with various levels of leadership
Able to work independently and as part of a team.?
