Beckman Coulter Information Technology designs, develops, maintains, and
evaluates technology systems, including software and hardware applications,
to meet business requirements. Designs and deploys solutions to correct
deficiencies, improve performance, and enhance capabilities. Documents
testing, maintenance, and security of systems. Reviews and monitors system
interface, internally and externally. Establishes standards and may conduct
training, as needed. Partners with all areas of the business, including
Finance, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Customer Operations. Initially,
this position is focused on the Logistics business functions, including
Distribution, Transportation and Global Trade Compliance.
The successful candidate will have working functional knowledge of the
Oracle eBusiness Suite. Strong background in Distribution and Transportation
concepts and management techniques, preferably shown by previous work
experience. Ideally, the candidate will have a deep understanding and
documented experience implementing or supporting all Oracle eBusinss Suite
modules. The primary area of expertise should include Logistics/Value Chain
Execution modules, including Inventory, WMS, MSCA and Shipping and/or Oracle
Transportation Management/GLog platform. Additionally, the candidate will
possess intermediate to advanced skillsets in SQL data mining tools and/or
Project Management methodologies/certifications.

Handle/resolve issues in Oracle modules AR, Advanced Collection, R12
Payments Fund capture, Vertex & EB-Tax (R12 12.1.3)
Able to work with third parties when needed: Chase - credit card, Mellon &
Scotia bank for lockboxes, Oracle for any SR issues, Perficient for Taxlink,
Vertex Inc for Vertex related issues, EDICOM - Mexico EDI invoices, CTAB -
invoice printing . Able to work with other team members in the integrated
environment - modules Order management, Service, Service Contracts, shipping
and Leasing . Learn & support subsystems - CRDRS (documentum )
issues, Tidal scheduler, EDI (invoice outbound) , PPM and SDLC processes .
Participate in any projects or new initiatives in the areas above . Exposure
to FA, PA, AP, GL is desirable . Able to write complex SQL
queries and provide extract to the users when needed .
Primarily to support Mexico, US, Canada and Puerto Rico operating units, and
support other OUs during global deployment or when issue a global issue. .
It is a BA role, should be able coordinate, handle issues, test, write
requirements, write test scripts, conduct user meeting, manage/contribute to
projects, manage user expectation, train or educate when needed.
