Debugs software products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.
Develops, modifies, and executes software test plans.
Analyzes and writes test standards and procedures.
Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
Analyzes test results to ensure correct functionality, determine root causes of failures and recommends corrective action.
Consults with development engineers in resolution of problems.
Provides feedback in preparation of technical appraisals of programming languages, systems, and computation software.
As a Test Software Development Engineer, you will support software code development
Validation and deployment of production solutions that support the HPDD Group.
Responsibilities include test strategy contributor, software coding of tests to be performed, supporting code design reviews and requirements reviews, resolving design and implementation issues, perform analysis of automated test runs, meeting production quality requirements, and updating tests as needed through product Iife cycle.

Maintain current test infrastructure by troubleshooting, implementing improvements and implementing changes to support new automated tests developed by either yourself or development engineers.
We are seeking a software validation engineer who is highly motivated, creative and innovative, and has a strong passion for designing, developing and implementing new validation software in support of functionality and performance based initiatives.
You will be working 5 days a week, Monday thru Friday, modified days to align with a team in the UK.
Contributes to overall software and quality processes by providing input when appropriated. Additional duties will include continuous equipment/test improvement, troubleshooting, and risk assessment.
Additional Skills and or education:
BS/MS in Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
At least a combination of 5 years of test automation/systems and code development experience.
Strong Python and some bash experience is desired.
Strong problem solving skills.
Strong Linux administration experience and some OSX experience is desired.
Ability to work in cross-functional, part virtual team environment, and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, project management and planning skills.
Years of experience required for this position: 5+ years
