Role: JBA System 21 / IBM AS400 developer
Work Location: Louisville, KY
Total experience: 6+ Years

Mandatory Technical / Functional Skills:

4+ years experience of JBA System 21 (GEAC system 21)
Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices.
5+ years CLLE, DB2 and RPGLE
5+ years application development experience required
5+ years experience working in an SDLC environment
6+ years IBM AS/400 experience and RPG

Roles and responsibility
The AS400 / iSeries Developer, is proficient in all critical functions for the application(s) assigned, and is expected to champion SDLC methods and best practices on the team to ensure that quality standards are met.

The AS400 / iSeries Developer, is responsible for supporting and implementing technical solutions as assigned, ensuring and adhering to all established methodologies, standards and guidelines, including but not limited to: analysis & design documents, program specifications, test plans and results, design, code, testing, debugging, and documentation of those programs while delivering assignments within specified time frames. Share expertise throughout organization educating through formal or informal means

Experience with analyzing and solving problems of a complex nature
Ability to effectively work with others in a team environment
Experience with Business Analysis Methodologies
