Description:
Build internal support for supplier diversity and sustainability programs with Senior Leadership. This role will be responsible for measuring, tracking and ensuring that our government regulated Small Business spend goals and our internal supplier diversity goals are met. Also the role is responsible for supplier sustainability and monitoring sustainability risk of select suppliers.
Lead supplier diversity initiatives, establish appropriate spend goals and fully develop all aspects of our supplier diversity program.
Establish metrics and measurements for outreach, sourcing, awards, diversity spend, and other performance criteria to be used by Procurement for diverse vendors.
Work closely with Sr. stakeholders throughout the organization and with Category Management to enable access to diverse suppliers and achieve company objectives.
Proactive in identifying opportunities to engage and use diverse suppliers.
Establish the criteria for selecting suppliers for sustainability risk monitoring and expands the program to additional suppliers.

Requirements:
BA or BS in Business Related Field of Study.
5-7 years in a corporate environment- Biotech / Pharma or other heavily regulated environment is preferred.
Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
Proficient in spreadsheets, databases, MS Office /Excel.
Knowledge, and experience in vendor outreach, supplier management, procurement, contracting, project management, contract administration, purchasing, budgeting, accounting and finance, purchasing and/or contracting experience in a commercial environment, including procurement pre-planning, bid document preparation (RFP), due diligence, source selection and contract negotiation.
The confidence and ability to interact with senior business leadership and develop joint goals for supplier diversity and sustainability.
Collaboration skills in working with category managers and with the Diversity and Inclusion group in Human Resources.
