Senior Systems Engineer
Location : Richmond, VA
Duration: 6 Months +

Key Skills – Exchange, Active Directory, A/V/Audio/Video, Conference/Conferencing, Skype for Business/Office 365

This person will need to be comfortable working autonomously while developing test cases and running through the execution of the testing against a baseline of existing technologies. The candidate should be able to identify existing gaps, define technologies that could fill those gaps, and implement business processes around moving it from Innovation to Production.

Supporting, Implementing, Documenting UC, AV, IT centric solutions
Possess or develop a working knowledge of Unified Communications, Video Conferencing, and Audio Visual technology
Working with customers to understand and manage collaboration technology expectations
Facilitate new solutions proof of concept and testing
Create and manage testing documentation and assessments
Share new technology assessments with grounded criteria to stakeholders and leadership levels
Generate operational support model documentation to apply to new technology that passes criteria
Evolve standards and work with suppliers to implement new capabilities into existing designs
Work with Vendors and AV Designers to coordinate new technology solutions deployment and validation documentation
Assist with UC and Video Conferencing system deployments
At least 3 years of experience with Audio/Video system (Cisco, Polycom, Lifesize, Crestron)
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills
Able to work efficiently in teams and/or independently
Fast learner
IT Security / Compliance experience or training

Basic Qualifications
Associates Degree, or military experience
At least 2 years of experience with IP network experience
At least 1 year of experience with Exchange
At least 1 year of experience with Active Directory knowledge
At least 3 years of experience with Audio/Video system
At least 1 year of experience with Skype for Business and at least 1 year of experience with Office 365 experience

Preferred Qualifications
2+ years network experience and at 2 years of experience with troubleshooting
2 + years of Video Conferencing support experience
