Required Skill:

Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Technology discipline
Minimum 5+ years’ experience deploying and supporting Linux solutions in co-located facilities, managed virtual and in public and private clouds.
Minimum 5+ years’ experience supporting Java based applications and server automation. Understanding of monitoring tools such as Zabbix.
Understanding or hands-on experience with cloud management tools such Chef or Puppet minimally 3.2 and above. Ability to creation modules and packages based on specifications.
Experience with KVM, Kickstart and/or Redhat package manager.
Hands-on experience supporting RedHat 6, Ubuntu, CentOS in larger environments (more than 50 servers
Experience with network storage.
Experience with OpenStack, VMWare and AWS.
Experience with high availability and disaster recovery methods for complex applications deployed in multiple regions.
Experience with all standard system administrator functions such as server build outs, monitoring, patch/security updates, antivirus, backups, restores, asset management, 24X7 support, pager duty, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands-on experience designing and implementing server infrastructure in large cloud environments.
Familiar with best practices for managing cloud infrastructure.

Experience with Scrum methodologies
