JOB DESCRIPTION:

Description of Role with Key Responsibilities:
Interacting with GIS Business Relationship Managers, technical leads, architects, application developers and business partners to understand business and technical requirements and managing the delivery of complex mobile applications and solutions in support of connected products and services (IoT)
Executing projects and initiatives related to connectivity (Consumer IoT) at a master Level of proficiency
Establishing project deliverables and effectively identifying and managing risks
Preventing problems before they occur by anticipating them and coördinating the team’s response. Proactively educate project stakeholders to take required actions.
Partnering with project stakeholders to discern their true needs and educate them regarding industry best practices.
Developing Project Plan, Forecast, and Schedule Record detailed customer project requirements, constraints, and assumptions with stakeholders in order to establish the project deliverables, using requirement-gathering techniques (e.g., planning sessions, brainstorming, focus groups) and the project charter.
Developing the Work Breakdown, Project Organization chart,Communication plan, Risk plan, Quality plan, Cost/budget and Resource plans.
Communicating project plan
Ensuring a common understanding by setting expectations in accordance with the Project Plan, in order to align the stakeholders and team members.
Executing project plan (tracking and managing the tasks as defined in the project plan in order to achieve the project goals - includes executing all parts of the project plan and managing the budget/forecast
Managing changes to project scope
Managing project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques in order to keep the project plan accurate, updated, reflective of authorized project changes as defined in the change management plan, and facilitating customer acceptance.
Monitoring and controlling project work including change controls
Measuring project performance using appropriate tools and techniques in order to monitor the progress of the project, identifying and quantifying any variances, performing any required corrective actions, and communicating to all stakeholders.
Implementing approved actions and workarounds required to mitigate project risk events in order to minimize the impact of the risks on the project.
Conducting kick-off meeting with all key stakeholders in order to announce the start of the project and review the overall project plan and gain consensus
Under general direction of either a Portfolio Manager or in some cases a Program Manager, leads and directs high-priority projects, which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.
