Position Summary
The Software Systems Architect at Our Client will serve as a Sr. Engineer responsible for defining functional architecture design for a new Task Management service that will be developed through the HL7/OMG HSSP process. The Systems Architect will also help to evolve three existing HL7 standards to their next phase as draft standards for trial use.
Duties:
Contribute original technical expertise, insight, and content to a white paper describing what would go into new HL7 standards documentation to reach DSTU for a Task Management service
Meet regularly several times a week to brain storm, negotiate and argue about some highly technical/clinical topics
Describe and document artifacts, modeling, sequence/component diagrams
Describe and document enhancements to 3 existing DSTU services that need to be addressed and go thru a standards organization to get to DSTU v2.0
Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree
10 years programming and architectural design experience in Healthcare domain
Data Analytics (Statistical Analysis, Prediction, and Modeling)
Expert in software engineering and modeling
Proven Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) development experience
Excellent verbal and writing skills
Human and/or computer task orchestration and management experience
Experience with standards development (i.e. ISO, ANSI, HL7, etc a plus
