Position: Senior Oracle Forms/Reports Developer
Location: St. Louis, MO 63102
Duration: 12 Months
Description:
Under general supervision, designs, tests, and implements Oracle Forms/Reports applications using industry standard software development practices, and techniques.
Interpret software design specifications and translate them into Oracle Forms/Reports. Develop and unit test Oracle Forms and Reports.
Develop and maintain Oracle queries, stored procedures, functions, and packages using SQL Developer.
Creation and maintenance of Oracle Database items (tables, views, triggers, synonyms, grants, sequences, etc.
Maintenance and compilation of Oracle Forms, Reports, Libraries, and Menus in UNIX environment. Integrate modules with other modules and external systems.
Adhere to department policy/standards/ and guidelines. Mentor and transfer technical knowledge to employee staff as necessary.
Qualifications & Experiences:
Candidate must be authorized to work in USA without requiring sponsorship.
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or an equivalent field of study, or equivalent experience.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Minimum 3- 5+ years of development experience with Oracle Forms and Reports ( Preferred experience with current version 11
Superior Oracle SQL language skills (Stored Procedures, Functions, Packages and Script creation
Minimum 2 – 3+ years general UNIX Development experience.
Minimum 2 – 3+ years general DBA skills experience.
Database architecture/design knowledge, Preferred plus.
WebLogic/Application Server experience, Preferred plus.
Experience with a test-first methodology.
Minimum 2 – 3+ years XML experience.
Detail-oriented individual with solid verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with RAD (or a similar methodology
