Required Qualifications

Determines technical training objectives to support mainframe and server operating systems based on agency needs.
Performs at an expert level on the technical subject matter addressed in training classes.
Writes training programs, including outline, text, handouts, and tests, and designs training exercises.
Participates in, and conducts technical training programs and sessions either in person or via e-learning methods as required by the agency. Lectures and demonstrates all pertinent aspects of required technical information, following outline, texts, and handouts. Prepare the learning environment and all resources, including setting up IT equipment.
Administers written and practical exams and write performance reports to evaluate trainees'' performance.
Understands and is familiar with current training standards, concepts, techniques, and procedures for adult learning. Able to deal with people in a manner that shows sensitivity, tact, and professionalism.
