As Senior Development Operations Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing and supporting large scale, high volume and load balanced .Net/IIS application environments across several data centers. The position requires an energetic individual who will significantly contribute to a proactive, responsive and customer focused CCH SFS Development Operations team.

Your primary responsibilities will be….

Design, implement and maintain web hosting architecture optimized for each of the company''s backend systems and according to requirements provided by development and IT teams.
Solid understanding of Windows based systems administration (Windows Server 2008R2, 2012, IIS 7/8, Windows Services) including server tuning and optimization, Windows Server and , scaling, load balancing, and caching.
Design efficient deployment work-flows integrated with existing or new enterprise or open source tools (C# code, PowerShell, Desired State Configuration, Chef, Puppet, Python
Solid understanding of hosting elements of Windows based environments (IIS, Windows Services, Windows Management Instrumentation, Windows Remote Management
Design monitoring and instrumentation frameworks, as well as integration of monitoring and instrumentation components into backend systems (C#, Application Insights, ElasticSearch, BigData
Develop automated test and maintenance procedures for deployment, monitoring and instrumentation systems.
Work closely with Operations, IT and Development teams to define requirements for automation solutions based on existing processes of provisioning infrastructure and software delivery systems (VMWare, Team Foundation Server, MS Build, MS Deploy, Git) across multiple environments including applications deployed to the "cloud" environments.
Provide and maintain support for Internet/Intranet application environments, including application deployments, configuration, troubleshooting, failure analysis, etc.
Monitor hosted systems usage, gather statistical information and execute capacity planning to ensure systems stability and performance operation.
Improve existing and establish new standard operating procedures including how the software is deployed, how change management practices are implemented, and how performance tuning is performed.
Schedule and implement production changes such as application deployments, software upgrades, roll out of security and system patches, bug fixes, etc.
Troubleshoot application errors/issues and closely work with QA, Development, DBAs, Server Services and Network Services teams on resolving those issues.
Develop, maintain, review and approve documentation in accordance with Operations procedures.
Maintain existing and develop new tools/scripts (PowerShell) to automate management of servers, deployment processes and health/availability monitoring of web hosting infrastructure and systems.
This position requires flexibility and willingness to be on call and available 24 hours a day, including weekends on a rotating schedule.
Oversee and address escalated issues from Customer Support, Development, and any other departments of the company.
Support, maintain and manage the deployed Enterprise-level applications.
Strong scripting skills, especially PowerShell (Perl, Shell
Experience in development RunBooks for Microsoft System Center, MS Desire State Configuration, Chef, Puppet, Python, etc.

Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering or information technology or related fields with
5 years of work experience or Master’s degree with 3 years of work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Microsoft .NET Framework 4.0 or higher (knowledge of the CLR, BCL, etc.
Experience administering and troubleshooting Windows Server and IIS, configuring server clusters and load balancing.
