SEO/SEM Content Analyst (DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER)
Palo Alto, CA
Contract - 3- 6 months +

Looking for more of a "mechanic" than an artist, if that makes sense.
I want a tinkerer who understands Google''s algorithms and can (examples: change a page title or re-tag a PDF or whatever - I''m no expert) from an SEO perspective, and who has had good success driving leads from PPC programs.
Some perspective on what goes into good SEO/SEM content, what titles get clicks, etc. is useful, but we have other resources who can actually create content given some direction on what''s most needed to accelerate our SEO/SEM efforts.
We are looking for someone who lives and breathes digital marketing. You will develop, implement, track and optimize our digital marketing campaigns across all digital channels.
Responsibilities
Plan and execute all web, SEO/SEM, PPC, marketing database, social media and display advertising campaigns
Measure and report performance for all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights
Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies
Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests
Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience
Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
Identify conversion points and optimize user funnels
Collaborate with agencies and other vendor partners
Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate
Requirements
Proven prior success in digital marketing
Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
Experience in optimizing landing pages and user funnels
Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (ie, Google Analytics, NetInsight, Omniture, WebTrends)
Working knowledge of ad serving tools (i.e. DART, Atlas)
Experience in setting up and optimizing Google Adwords and LinkedIn campaigns
Working knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript development constraints
Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in on-line marketing and measurement
BS or equivalent in Marketing or a related field







Digital Marketing Consultant (Web and Social Media Engagement)
Milpitas, CA
Part Time 20 hrs per week (ideally 4 hours per day), few months

Reason for opening - Someone left
· Part time for now ( 4 days)
· Open to 40 hours to start and then scale back
· Hiring a marketing manager – will eventually hire for this

Purpose of the Position: To manage the creation, maintenance, development and distribution of publications and communications viompany website, e-newsletters, and social medihannels that enhances the organization’s mission, builds brand awareness and supports fundraising activities.

Essential Job Functions:
Manage and provide strategic direction to the website, providing support and metrics to all SME for content strategy and updates.
Manage and provide strategic direction to various social medihannels, designing layout, crafting general content, publishing posts/campaigns, and metric reporting.
Manage and provide strategic direction to newsletter communication channels, including the maintenance of contact records, branded email templates, communications schedule, and metrics reporting.
Maintain communications calendar, in partnership with operations and development schedules.
Provide communications planning and implementation as an active, contributing member of the Marketing Committee.
Perform other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications
B.A. degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or communications-related field, or equivalent work experience.
Experience in a nonprofit environment a plus.
Creativity, initiative, good judgment and ability to communicate effectively are absolutely essential.
Decision-making, problem-solving, and research skills.
Experience in web design and computer graphics. Previous experience with Joomla required and Salesforce preferred.
Proficient in all aspects of MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel and Word.
