JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing. Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs. Develops conversion and system implementation plans. Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation. Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards. Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.
Analyze, design, develop, test and support business and operational applications for Informatics, 3rd party and
proprietary applications.
Develop code in adherence with programming standards, coding practices and schedule.
Engage internal stakeholders to review/refine business requirements and develop technical and functional
design.
Detailed documentation of solutions.
Troubleshoot and remediate problems of a varying degree of complexity.
Lead development initiatives and work with cross-functional teams.
Ability to provide direction, share new concepts and serve as a technical resource to other team members.
Fosters teamwork and innovation by involving others in problem solving, decision making and creative thinking.
Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to document processes and procedures
5+ years experience and a high level of proficiency with Visual Studio .Net MVC, particularly Visual Basic & ASP
4-6+ years experience in programming using C# on enterprise or department servers or systems
Experienced with Microsoft Team Foundation (TFS) including source code control/branching
Experience migrating from lower levels of .NET to latest version (e.g. .NET 2.0 to MVC .NET 4.x)
SQL Server experience including some database design work /optimization and stored procedures
Extensive experience (5+ years) with Microsoft SQL development, ETL and data manipulation
Experienced with Web Services – writing and modifying
SDLC - Agile/SCRUM development a plus
4+ years experience in engaging end-users for usability issues, enhancement requirements and application functionality


ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Huge Plus – Experience coding in Apex, JAVA and creating applications using Force.com platform
Proficiency communicating technical concepts with a non-technical audience.
Oracle database & PL/SQL
Microsoft Reporting; SSRS
Crystal reports
SSAS Cubes
Exposure to Salesforce.com
Ability to work under aggressive deadlines, meet project commitments and quickly adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of Security and Regulatory Requirements: SOX / HIPAA
Knowledge of Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition and/or Informatics
Previous experience leading development initiatives
