General Summary:
Provides system integration and support expertise to various team customers to integrate Meditech, Nextgen Initiate and various other IS systems in place and it''s affiliates.
Primary responsibilities include directing the coordination with System Integration analysts and other IS team members and potential vendors to be interfaced.
Develop, implement and maintain the integration.
They will ensure proper system integration and functional performance of interfaces between Client Systems, HIS systems and other non Client systems.
They will provide technical leadership in the context of software integration and interface analysis.
They will ensure and oversee full coordination and synchronization of integration activities, prioritization of discrepancy reports and problem resolution.
Maintains and documents the integration solutions and monitors the system for problem resolution.
Expert in HL7 interface code and how it relates to other applications.
Provides leadership and guidance to mentor caregivers in how interfaces work and can be used within the SHS for both the IS department and at the end user caregivers.

Essential Functions And Duties:
Provides leadership necessary to lead the implementation of integration solutions for the health system using the current integration tools.
Assesses, trains, and mentors team members on new skills.
Understands the impact of their project and pertinent applications and manages how they integrate with the organization''s multi-facility HIS systems Ensures, coordinates, implements and monitors the development of current departmental and downtime procedures.
Responsible for ensuring that documents are current and stored in the disaster recovery document.
Primary system administrator responsible for upkeep and upgrades of the system.
Leads the coordination of the technical and integration testing/implementation activities internally and with client, including development of test/ implementation plans and documentation.
Responsible for the architectural level planning and helps determine component assembly and integration process.
Determines how the components are going to interface with each other and how the components are going to be tested to verify the work in the integrated environment.
Functions as team lead to determine the best integration solutions for the organization.
Ability to coordinate across teams, as well as functions independently as a leader and as an active team member.
Design of application functionality and data structures, integration with other data sources and destinations.
Coordinates the development of regression tests to ensure repeatable mechanisms for checking out changes to the systems as it evolves.
Responsible for developing and managing the maintenance of assigned systems applications, and processes including backup , downtime procedures, disaster recovery and process monitoring.
Acquires the necessary knowledge and experience required to become the information services expert on all assigned applications and systems assigned.
Proactively enhances their technical skills through self-assessed measurement.

Minimum Education:
Bachelor''s degree (desired)
Cloverleaf experience desired but can substitute other integration experience
Cloverleaf TCL a plus - NOT REQUIRED (similar software OK!)

Minimum Work Experience:
Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role (5 years without BS degree)

Knowledge & Skills:
Excellent communication skills
Working knowledge of MS-Project and MS-Office
Experience in working with Quovadx coding language of TCL
Excellent problem solving skills
Strong project coordination skills
Knowledge of HL7 interface code and how it relates to other applications (preferred)
Experience in developing and programming interfaces with Interface Engine
Experience with the following areas: HL7, XML, Java, Web Services, Direct Messaging, and SQL code
Experience with identifying, analyzing and implementing integration opportunities
