SD-WAN is seeking an experienced, results-oriented Director of Product Management who will responsible for leading company’s Point-Of-Sale (POS) & Compliancy security business. We are looking for a seasoned product management leader, who can have an immediate impact in helping manage products for the main share of our business. This person will be passionate about all things related to network security, compliancy and POS systems and will lead the product strategy and direction for the company to help grow the business. The person will work with cross-functional teams to design, build and roll-out products that deliver the company’s vision and strategy.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth
• Create buy-in for the product vision & Strategy, both internally and with key external partners.
• Outline product requirements and specification for the products you manage.
• Develop product pricing and positioning strategies
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
• Interface with Marketing to drive product messaging, content and launches
• Interface with the sales and channel organization to support and promote your product line.
• Act as a product evangelist to build awareness and understanding
• Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services
• Create and maintain long range revenue forecasts for the security solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional peers inside the organization to drive revenue growth and achieve overall company objectives
• Develop and maintain product and customer profitability analyses for pricing
• Develop product reporting to identify historical results, current performance and forecasting for unit volumes, revenue, profit, churn, etc.
• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in the payments and/or the security compliancy space.
• Experience in structuring cross-channel solutions for merchants with Physical and E-commerce business lines
• Good understanding of Debit and Credit processing at Point of Sale including PIN debit, Chip and Pin/EMV processing worldwide.
• Experience with security technologies involved in POS/mPOS including encryption/hardening, key management schemes (e.g. DUKPT) and underlying payload encryption (e.g. 3DES/AES) is a must have.
• Knowledge of PCI domain areas pertaining to POS and mPOS, including the Point of Interaction (POI) is a strong plus.
• Previous experience working with and managing the integration security for terminals/readers with service providers and merchant POS applications is required.
• Familiarity with the Agile/Scrum development process and model.
• Experience with various hardware and subscription software pricing models.
• Strong problem solving skills and willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done
• Skilled at working effectively with cross functional teams in a matrix organization
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and conflict management skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
• MS/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent preferred
