Empower Administrator
Location – Foster City, CA
Preferred FTE / 12+ Months

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Day-to-day operation and administration of systems, applications, and databases, including performing maintenance, troubleshooting of problems, coordinating with internal teams, resolving escalated technical requests, and collaborating with other IT personnel on Empower or similar projects.

· Assist with the overall strategic direction for Empower Systems, which includes IT networking, hosted vendors, software selection and design, and DBA services

· Provide advice (knowledge transfer) to the customer and partners.

· Prepare documentation and training to support IT and related processes.

· Assist with off-hours monthly maintenance patching and updating activities as related to Empower or similar systems.

· Provide communication to the business when scheduled downtimes are required

· Initiate Change Requests for validated system changes

· Responsible for initiating deviations for validated systems

· Review, approve and execute IQ’s

· System Design Documentation writing and revising.

· Requirement Specification Review

EXPERIENCE

· Empower IT Administration; node creation, system creation,

· Technical Skills: Citrix XenApp, Windows 7, Basic Network Troubleshooting, Basic Active Directory Domain, GPO modification, NTFS File Shares and Permission modification

· SOP creation and editing

· Project experience involving technical consulting, solution design, project envisioning, planning, development and deployment is preferred

· Experience designing, building, and maintaining Empower or similar systems.

· Experience with system development life cycle (SDLC) based systems and projects with GxP validation requirements

· Understanding of how to build a system meeting Part 11 Compliance requirements
