IT Financial Analyst – Large Program
Location:- Bala Cynwyd PA
Durations:- 9 Months
Job Summary.
The IT Program Financial Analyst, reporting to the Sr. IT Finance Manager, conducts program and project financial analysis and reporting.

Job Responsibilities
Analyze and produce financial information for programs and projects.
Provide information and updates on estimates at completion to project managers, program managers and program team.
Reconcile effort hours against financial plans.
Monitor financials to determine if targets are met at periodic intervals and at end of projects.
Establish reporting format with agreed-to financial information, grouped by portfolio and program levels.
Examine and report on expense implications versus cash outlay projections.
Provide financial analysis for scope management and project change management to outline expense implications.
Provide understanding of financial year by year models, and the variances based on project proposed changes.
Running steady state reporting and project financial status.
Budget reforecasting reporting support.
Conduct project financial reconciliation against SAP. Monitor for erroneous charges.
Monitor program financials to ensure commitments are released in a timely manner.
Complies with proper internal controls, as necessary, to conduct job functions and/or carry out responsibilities and/or administrative activities.
Establishes and builds strong working relations and partnerships with the various teams being supported.

Degree / Licenses and Professional Certifications
Bachelor''s degree in finance or accounting preferred.
3- 5 years relevant experience with large project-based accounting required

Strong knowledge of project financial administration required.
Knowledge of the technical aspects of IT operations, including methods, tools and techniques.
Knowledge of/experience with of accounting concepts required.
Knowledge of SAP.
Knowledge of organizational politics and political tactics; ability to effectively navigate formal and informal communication and decision-making channels.
Knowledge, insight, and understanding of business concepts and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the company''s business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel required.
Strong writing and communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation toward Business Units requiring financial consultation (responsive, consultative, collaborative and accurate
Strong project management skills: Plan, organize, monitor, and control projects, ensuring efficient utilization of resources, to achieve project objectives and deadlines.
