Essential Job Functions:
IT-based discipline that implements technical solutions at the Enterprise level, specifically in an Oracle EBS (HR/Payroll, OTL, Financials, Projects) environment. Understand and translate Functional Specs for bug resolutions, reporting and other enhancements into working technical solutions.
Provide technical support for testing and implementation of bugs and enhancements.
Define and develop technical solutions that apply mainstream application and database technologies such as PL/SQL programs, batch programs, SQL*Plus, Unix shell scripting, User Interface design & development, software engineering, and application or BI report development.
Work with client business and IT representatives and BA’s to ensure accurate understanding and/or technical limitations related to EBS service requests. Also provide support and technical validation of new product proof of concepts.
Engage with Customer/client mid management to provide updates, manage escalations and maintain client relationships
Develops technical specifications (ex: technology to use) based on the business requirements that are gathered by the BA’s. Also determines timelines needed to Implement these specifications.
Supports and coordinates technical implementation activities, including facilitating setup/provisioning activities with the DBA and/or infrastructure team.
Document customizations including, component architecture, file locations and/ or file entries to ensure that all customizations are reproducible. Prepare the status reports as needed.
