Job Description :
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Full lifecycle experience in delivering and managing Master Data Management (MDM) and Data Warehousing (DW) initiatives
Responsible for partnering with Business Product Owner to define and execute Data Governance process, create team success measures and link to strategic plan, and manage the budget and staffing for the program
Acts as primary liaison between Business Sponsors, Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and technical teams in the definition, testing, training, implementation, and support of delivering business value
Manage on-site and near-shore team members within Agile delivery framework
Communicate and coordinate effectively with subject matter experts and the stakeholders to define and plan projects, improve processes, and change/release management
Provides direction on information use cases in order to facilitate understanding of business needs / outcomes
Manage technology and business issues related to data management as well as communicate appropriately with both technology and business experts
Analyze and evaluate data / information gathered from multiple sources and reconcile / address conflicts or business issues
Create and oversee processes related to data management - data cleansing, de-duplication and harmonization of data across and within enterprise systems
Proactively identify and evaluate innovative solutions or opportunities to achieve/exceed business outcomes; ultimately compiling business case for funding approval
Ensures the team creates/revises/executes the following deliverables using industry standard techniques as applicable, including but not limited to:
o Data Flow Diagrams
o Data Dictionaries
o Data Modeling or Data Use Cases
o Data Analysis
o Business Analysis Planning
o Business Process Models
o Requirements Specifications
o Use Case Scenarios
o User Acceptance Testing

Required Skills / Knowledge
Past experience in requirements gathering
Experience with MDM and Data Warehouse tools/projects and Data Governance processes required
Experience working with newer technologies such as Tableau and Big Data are strongly preferred
Proven experience with data driven decision making required
Proven successful experience leading Agile teams
High level of curiosity and investigative mind-set with an attention to detail
Past demonstrated ability to do statistical analysis and data management techniques
Past demonstrated experience using large databases to solve problems
Excellent understanding of data and data relationships
Past demonstrated experience in data modeling, data management and data manipulation
Ability to multi-task and provide high quality solution under pressure
Preferred functional understanding of P&C Insurance landscape, i.e. interdependency of MDM to downstream applications such as CRM & BI
Is accountable for projects throughout entire lifecycle; depending on scale and complexity may need input or guidance on critical decisions
Solid communication – written, verbal, presentation – skills
Exhibit competencies of drive/energy, learning agility, change agility, and relationship management
Past demonstrated ability to effectively manage and align on-site / near-shore team members with various skill levels
