Role: IT Peoplesoft Developer
Location: Painted Post NY 14870
Duration: 12 + Month

General Responsibility:
The resource will need to have good communication skills to work with the functional resource to gain understanding of their perspective and provide approach recommendations based on the knowledge of PS HR tables and data relationships. The individual will need to be able to analyze tables and have in-depth knowledge of the data relationships, so they can articulate the implications of data harmonization from PS.

Data Conversion:
Normalization and conversion of data with the following focus:
o Finalize the extracts of PeopleSoft employee data for import into Success Factors
o Finalize the program that will create Position data for Success Factors
Collaborate with Functional and Technical teams to finalize requirements
Participate in daily status meetings

Skills needed by priority:
1. PS HR knowledge
2. SQR
3. PS App Engine
4. Oracle DB skills
5. PeopleSoft HR Application knowledge

General PS Developer description not specific to this position:
Minimum 5 years of development experience in a PeopleSoft Financial environment. Prefer PeopleTools 8.53 experience.
Minimum 5 years’ experience with Microsoft SQL Server or similar relational database.
Strong knowledge of and adherence to development standards (including testing and migration procedures) and implementing best practices. Experience applying PeopleSoft patches, fixes, and feature packs.
Demonstrated experience with Microsoft SQL performance tuning and optimization.
Ability to demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and lead high-visibility efforts.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with end users.
Strong conceptual and problem solving skills, with the ability to develop initiatives, as well as recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
Need to be capable of working independently, as well as in a team environment.
Strong expertise with PeopleTools (Application Designer, Application Engine, Data Mover, PeopleCode etc.
BS or MS in Computer Science or a related technical field.
Insurance industry experience is preferred.
Excellent functional and technical understanding of PeopleSoft General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Cash Management.
PeopleSoft certification preferred.

Experience with:
C#, ASP.NET, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JavaScript, XML, Web Services, IIS, Silverlight.
SQL/Server 2000/2005/2008.
JavaScript / HTML / XML.
SharePoint 2007/2010.
MS Project.
Experience with Phire change management tool preferred.
